01An Overview

The Conclave, in Full Context.

From Wards 2 the World — the Delhi Governance Roundtable Conclave — is the inaugural edition of a national programme by Smart Nagar Nigam. An exclusive, non-partisan, high-trust, closed-format roundtable, it convenes 20–25 carefully selected cross-sector participants at Ginger – Lakshadweep House, Chanakyapuri, in the diplomatic heart of New Delhi.

Under the theme "Transforming Delhi Through Data, Leadership & Citizen Partnership," the Conclave launches the Good Governance Book, unveils Citizen Councillor Connect (C3) and the Digital Public Representative, showcases startup and innovation solutions across 30 MCD domains, and signs the Delhi Ward Charter — a public governance covenant.

The gathering brings together political leadership across party lines, senior bureaucracy, incumbent and aspiring councillors, think tanks, academia, civil society, industry, startups, and media — each seat calibrated for credibility, balance, and actionable follow-through.

Delhi is Edition One. The framework travels next to Mumbai and Bareilly — and ultimately to India's 4,000+ Urban Local Bodies.

03Why Attend

A Compelling Value Proposition for Every Stakeholder.

01

Industry, Business & Startups

Delhi's municipal economy is enormous — 30 domains of municipal services represent hundreds of crores in annual procurement. Engagement is not philanthropy; it is strategic positioning in India's largest ward-level governance market.

  • Featured solutions in the Good Governance Book — the most direct policy-maker access available in India
  • Direct interface with political leadership, senior IAS officers and MCD administration in a closed, high-trust setting
  • Partnership pathway for piloting urban-civic solutions across Delhi's 250 wards through C3
  • Co-branding across the 150+ platform media wave — national visibility without advertising spend
  • Inclusion in the 30 MCD Domain Industry Map for government procurement and CSR allocation
02

Government, MCD & Bureaucracy

A non-partisan, independently validated mechanism to document achievements, guide policy and demonstrate accountability — without political risk.

  • A non-partisan platform to document and amplify Central and Delhi State achievements — with media reach and research credibility
  • Access to C3 ward-level data — the most granular municipal performance dataset being built in India today
  • Good Governance Book policy recommendations directly integrable into MCD planning and MPD-2047 implementation
  • A curated startup and innovation lab directory for all 30 MCD domains — reducing procurement search costs
  • The Delhi Ward Charter — positioning the administration as a proactive accountability partner
03

Public Representatives — Incumbent, Aspiring & Former

The most powerful governance credibility platform available before MCD elections — name recognition and perceived active governance are the two strongest predictors of re-election, and Smart Nagar Nigam delivers both.

  • First-mover advantage on C3 and the Digital Public Representative — re-election armour
  • Featured Ward Vision Document in the Good Governance Book, distributed across ministries and media
  • Accountability Champion designation — the most credible governance brand before election season
  • Ward Townhall Summit support — venue, moderation, citizen outreach and media coordination
  • Independently verified performance data that distinguishes governance champions from traditional politicians
04

Citizens — Delhi's 20 Million

Citizens are not a beneficiary category of Smart Nagar Nigam. They are its central purpose.

  • For the first time — a published, independent, publicly accessible report on every ward councillor across all 250 wards
  • The Digital Public Representative — a 24/7 AI interface that speaks their language, guides them to schemes and tracks grievances
  • Startup and innovation solutions deployed in their wards — measurably better sanitation, water, roads and safety
  • Ward Summits in their own neighbourhoods — 300–500 citizens engaging their ward leader face to face

02

Citizen as Partner

Beyond voting once every five years — how do 20 million citizens move from passive recipients to active co-creators of ward governance?

03

Innovation for Urban Life

How can startups, innovation labs, and technology companies solve Delhi's 30 municipal governance domains — from sanitation to smart parking? What does an AI-powered ward look like in practice?

04

Data-Driven City Management

What ward-level data infrastructure must be built for Delhi to become a global governance benchmark? How does C3 become the standard for every Indian city?

05

Building the Legacy City

What is Delhi's 2047 vision — and what commitments must political leadership, bureaucracy, industry, and citizens each make to get there?
